allan or bronco as he was better known died after a short illness which he bravely fought,
he leaves behind me his wife karen and his sons sam and ryan and twins paul and simon
allan had a successful liver transplant 3 years ago and he lived a healthy life until the end of november when he began feeling unwell ,he was diagnosed with post transplant lymphona in december which he needed chemo for but the first time they gave it to him he became unwell and his bowel perforated ,he had emergency surgery in the early hours of boxing day ,then he was in intensive care for a couple of weeks but he defied them all to recover enough to be put back on the ward ,but then they told us he needed more chemo to live but if they gave it to him it would kill him ,we as a family had to make the decision to stop the treatment so he could be pain free and comfortable in his last days and he was ,we all had time to say goodbye and tell him we loved him and he died in my arms at 11.05 on saturday 17/01/09 ,he did'nt want to go and we did'nt want him to leave and i will miss him forever xxxxxx

on boxing day we travel to India a place he loved where we will scatter his ashes on anjuna beach so he will always be in the sun......

Another year over Al, another one without you ,I still miss you like it was yesterday ,I wish all the time it was different ,new year new baby for Ryan and new home and business for Sam and me still plodding along alone and lonely, happy new year darling boy xxxxxx
Home from Ibiza darling and Sam and Beth are married now the wedding was fantastic and so many people came with us ,you would have loved it ,it was beautiful ,we didnt forget you and we had many a toast to you ,if they last as long as us they will do well xxxx
